The 1st Annual Manitou Springs Kiwanis Club’s St. Pickleball’s Day Tournament was a rousing success.  Held on March 15 and 16, 2025, more than three dozen teams competed for prizes generously donated by the Garden of the Gods Trading Post. Contestants were in Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced Divisions, in Men’s and Women’s teams as well as Mixed Doubles.  Other sponsors of the tournament included The Landscaper LLC, Incline E-Bikes, Manitou Brewing Co., E-Bike Sales & Rentals, and Kiva Construction.

The Tounament raised more than $2,800 for Manitou Springs youth sports and leadership programs sponsored by the Club.  The Kiwanis Club already has plans underway for next year’s tournament.

Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in America. According to legend, St. Pickleball is revered for driving the seniors off the couch.
